X Factor 2012: Tulisa wants Ella Henderson to duet with Adele

Tulisa (X Factor 2012)

X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed she hopes to get Adele to duet with Ella Henderson for the final.

Ella remains the only girl in the competition and the final act in Tulisa's category after losing Jade Ellis and Lucy Spraggan in just one week.

"She's fine," Tulisa said. "All the boys look out for her. I find it a bit of a novelty seeing as I was the only girl in N-Dubz.

"I love Ella! I’ve been giving her advice about boys and relationships. I’ve told Ella to wait and make the boys chase after her."

Speaking to the official ITV1 X Factor website, Tulisa continued: "I’d love to see Adele duet with Ella. Ella is one of the purest souls I’ve ever met. She’s an amazing talent, has a great work ethic and is amazingly grounded. She doesn’t have a bad bone in her body."

Ella previously also revealed she'd love to duet with the British singer.

Speaking on the Xtra Factor, Ella was asked who her dream duet would be if she made it through to the live final in December.

“That’s so hard,” the 16-year-old replied. “It’s between two people, it would be either Beyonce or Adele.”

It certainly got happen, with Adele having previously praised the teenager.

She tweeted during the live shows earlier this month: “Ella Henderson on X Factor is absolutely incredible! I LOVE her!! Good luck xx”

Meanwhile, Tulisa insisted she didn't claim that Jahmene Douglas couldn't sell records.

She explained: "I didn’t say that Jahmene couldn’t sell a record outside of the competition. Someone else said: ‘Do you think that Jahmene will be able to sell records outside of the competition?' and I replied with: ‘I don’t know. I’ve never thought about it.’ Of course, Jahmene will sell records. He’s phenomenal!"

The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a guilty pleasures theme.

Sunday's results show will feature performances from Alicia Keys and Olly Murs, as well as one more act being given the boot.
