District3 have become the latest act to be eliminated from The X Factor 2012.
Last night saw the remaining eight X Factor finalists perform live for the sixth time, singing songs with a Best of British theme.
This evening, Dermot O'Leary revealed that District3 and Union J had received the fewest public votes and would have to sing again.
It was the second time for both groups in the bottom two, with the pair going head to head and the judges - Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh - were left to decide which of the groups stayed and went.
In the sing off, District3 performed Bruno Mars' Just The Way You Are while Union J performed Adele's Set Fire To The Rain.
It was then over to the judges.
Louis was first up, saying: "Dermot, I'm not voting. I'm sending any of these acts home. I cannot judge between my acts."
Gary said: "When I saw both of these acts in the bottom two I thought it'd be simple as in the past I've felt District3 would beat these guys easily but it was one of your worse vocal performances tonight, the act I'm sending home tonight is District3."
Nicole said: "For you, District3 having a bad day is other people having a good day... the group I think is more mature and a little bit more ready is Union J so I'm so sorry the act I'm sending home is District3."
Although her vote wasn't needed, Tulisa revealed she would've saved District3.
