X Factor's James Arthur has branded Chris Maloney a diva, much to Rylan Clark's shock!
Speaking ahead of tonight's latest live show, James revealed hat tensions behind the scenes had been high.
"I think Gary Barlow's picking on Rylan a little bit, a lot of it is probably for TV, but..." James revealed.
And quizzed on the atmosphere backstage, James claimed: "Chris is a diva."
However Ryaln was quick to move James on, saying: "Thank you for talking to us!"
There's been plenty of reports about Chris' behaviour backstage, and this is the first time that they've come from an act still in the competition.
Speaking to The Sun last week, eliminated hopeful Kye Sones revealed that Chris was an outsider in the group of contestants, despite denying such tension while on the show.
"All of us have got really close and then you’ve got Chris. We’ve been a really strong group and he’s been an outsider — and that’s nothing to do with any of us lot," he said. “He’s very tactical. There are two different people — one when cameras are there and one when they’re not there.”
And he told the newspaper: “I’m just glad that, from day one, I have not lied and have been very honest and that was my main thing and I can walk away with my head held high.”
Asked how Chris had avoided the bottom two so far, Kye quipped: “God knows. He must have an expensive phone bill!”
