X Factor hopefuls Union J are planning a very special performance on tonight's show.
This evening's Best Of British themed show will see the remaining acts singing classic tracks by British acts.
Union J will be dedicating their 'special' performance to George Shelley's brother, Will, who is currently serving in the Royal Marines.
Mum to Will and George told This Is Somerset that the group would be showing respect to the bravery of British soldiers through their song.
“George has a special place in his heart for the Royal Marines as his brother is a serving Royal Marines Commando," she explained. “The theme of this weekend is Best of British and George and Union J feel that our forces are one of the best things about Britain.”
Mum Toni continued: “The band wanted to show the nation their respect for the Armed Forces on Remembrance weekend.
“I think it will be quite an emotional performance for George and the boys.
“As a family we all have the greatest of respect for the British military.”
The X Factor 2012 live shows continue tonight at 8:05PM with a Best Of British theme.
Tomorrow evening's results show will feature performances from One Direction and Little Mix, as well as one more act being given the boot.
