X Factor star Jahmene Douglas seems a bit critical of himself, claiming that his performance last week needed a lot of work.
Speaking in his weekly video diary on the ITV1 website, Jahmene revealed he had become exhausted over the past six weeks.
"It's the sixth week in and I'm exhausted by it, but I know this is where I'm supposed to be," he said.
Jahmene, who covered Beyonce's Listen last week, continued: "In the car back to the hotel last week I watched my performance back and I realised just how many flat notes there were.
"I started being really critical of myself, so hopefully this week I can push it a little bit more."
Despite praise from the judges, Jahmene confessed he found it hard to take all the good compliments.
"When I'm on stage and the judges are saying what they're saying, it all goes over my head," he explained. "I'm really bad with good comments."
The 21-year-old also confessed: "I have always thought my music was more suited to America but England's slowly proving they want me over here."
The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a Best Of British theme.
Sunday's results show will feature performances from One Direction and Little Mix, as well as one more act being given the boot.
