Chris Maloney has been outcast by the other X Factor 2012 finalists, it's been claimed.
As well as the other contestants, Chris has been rubbing up the show's staff the wrong way too, the Daily Mail reports.
The newspaper claim that the show's team reckon cruise ship Chris has "no hope" of ever making it as a popstar and is "the least popular contestant in X factor history" behind the scenes.
A source told the paper: "He eats dinner alone because he’s so rude to producers, assistants and contestants, then spends most of the night on his mobile voting for himself. So, where did the nerves go?
Another added: "We believe the strong parochial support from Liverpool is keeping Christopher in the competition."
Speaking to The Sun last week, eliminated act Kye Sones revealed that Chris was an outsider in the group.
"All of us have got really close and then you’ve got Chris. We’ve been a really strong group and he’s been an outsider — and that’s nothing to do with any of us lot," he said. “He’s very tactical. There are two different people — one when cameras are there and one when they’re not there.”
And he bitched: “I’m just glad that, from day one, I have not lied and have been very honest and that was my main thing and I can walk away with my head held high.”
Asked how Chris had avoided the bottom two so far, Kye quipped: “God knows. He must have an expensive phone bill!”
The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a Best Of British theme.
Sunday's results show will feature performances from One Direction and Little Mix, as well as one more act being given the boot.
