X Factor's Christopher Maloney has said he's not paying attention to reports suggesting he's topping the voting.
The Daily Star Sunday reported at the weekend that Liverpudlian singer Chris is continuing to top the public polls during the latest show on Saturday night.
Only Jahmene Douglas is able to challenge Chris for the top spot, the newspaper claims.
Last week the pair secured half of all the votes between them, while favourite Ella Henderson has apparently been struggling.
A source told the tabloid that Ella had only just been avoiding the bottom two so far this series by a few percentage points.
The source added to the newspaper: “If producers want to stop Chris winning – and it’s a big ‘if’ – then it’s Jahmene they will have to push over the line.
“It seems a long shot from here for any of the others.”
Chris said this week: "I heard that, but I don't want to think about it or I might suddenly be at the bottom."
Speaking about his cheesy song choices, Chris insisted he wasn't going to change!
"I've put me own little twist on [my performances] and made them me own. I've watched past shows and seen people change and do miraculous makeovers, but I don't want to change.
"I want to stay true to myself and to people who voted me in as wild card."
Chris added: "It's hurtful to be called Cheesy, but I'd rather get called that than a crap singer."
The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a guilty pleasures theme.
Sunday's results show will feature performances from Alicia Keys and Olly Murs, as well as one more act being given the boot.
