Axed X Factor singer Jade Ellis has hit out at the show, claiming it needs to change to win viewers back.
Jade was axed last month when she was in the sing off with Union J, with all the judges bar mentor Tulisa opting to save the boy group.
Hitting back at the judges' comments, Jade said this month: "Gary said he was worried he wanted this opportunity for me more than I did, but why would I give up time with my six year old child if I didn't truly want the opportunity? I sacrificed a lot for it."
The mum of one claimed that she was ultimately forced to sing songs she didn't want to, and suggested that the series still needed to "evolve".
Despite Lucy Spraggan being allowed to sing her own tracks on the live shows, Jade said she wasn't allowed.
"The songs I sang aren't the songs I want to produce as an artist. X Factor needs to continue evolving and letting contestants sing their own songs," Jade complained. "People don't want to watch us dong karaoke every week."
However there's been some positives to take away from the experience for Jade.
"I've had messages of support from Gay couples," she said. "Hopefully seeing me and [my girlfriend] Heva raising [my daughter] Caiden together can make people realise how normal it is."
The X Factor continues with its live shows this weekend with a guilty pleasures theme.
Sunday's results show will feature performances from Alicia Keys and Olly Murs, as well as one more act being given the boot.
