With Lucy Spraggan out of the competition, only Ella Henderson remains fighting for Tulisa's girl category!
Lucy Spraggan quit The X Factor 2012 this morning, citing her continuing illness.
The 21-year-old said in a statement: "I am gutted not to be able to continue on this journey but I'm not well enough to perform. To accept another free pass having missed last weekend would not be fair on the others in the competition.
"I wish them all well. I would like to express my thanks to everyone who has supported me. There is no way that this setback will prevent me from fulfilling my ambition.
"You'll be hearing from me again very soon."
Lucy's mentor Tulisa added: "I’m so sorry to lose Lucy from the competition.. I now count her as a friend as she is an amazing girl."
It's left Tulisa with just one contestant, when last Saturday she still had all three!
And bookies reckon that Lucy's exit will only benefit an already strong boys category.
Nicole is now the only judge with all of her acts remain, and William Hill think Lucy's fans will now change their alliance to her pal Rylan.
“The Elimination betting is tight but Rylan is likely to gain most from the Spraggan exit and if I was Kye I would be very nervous,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
