X Factor star Christopher Maloney has confessed that the negative press reports have upset him.
Speaking about claims that he's a diva and remarks from the judges, Chris said today: "I've had a lot of negative press and I don't know why. It upsets me.
"Louis said I'm like Cilla Black, but I take that as compliment! She's a legend, and a bigger diva than I am.
"I love everyone in the competition, I think they're all unique, I get on Jahmene, with Kye, even Rylan!"
Discussing last weekend's show, Chris went on: "Last weekend's performance, I loved it, the staging, the sound, the dancers, it was spooky and it was Halloween.
"In the comments, Gary mentioned Tulisa's breath... I felt a bit uncomfortable, I was like 'Dermot, please come over and save me'. I just thought it was hilarious afterwards."
Teasing this week's song choice, Chris continued: "This weekend we started rehearsals at 9oclock on the Monday morning, and went right through to five. If you don't put the work in, it wont show in your performance.
"The song I'm singing this week is a big song by a big singer, if it goes right it will be amazing."
