X Factor stars District3 have said they're glad to be recognised as an original act.
While their rivals [tag]Union J[/tag] are busy being compared to One Direction, District3 are happy to avoid such comparisons.
"I like the fact that we aren't being compared to anyone else. It means we're original," says Greg.
Speaking of his group and Union J, he continued: "We're both in the same position. It's got to the point now where we just go on stage and do our own thing, and try not to worry about any of that stuff."
Union J this week hit out at people who had compared them to One Direction.
Speaking to heat magazine, the boys were quizzed on what set them apart from rival X Factor stars [tag]One Direction[/tag], who competed in the show back in 2010.
The boys replied: "Um, we're a four-piece, they're a five... No we do different music. We're just different."
They added: "They're very young-poppy. We're a bit like Maroon 5."
One thing all three of the groups have in common is their scores of female fans, and [tag]District3[/tag]'s Greg admitted he felt sorry for them!
He said: "If I'm honest, we all feel a bit sorry for them. They wait there overnight and you come down in the morning an they're soaking. You just want to give them a blanket."
[cat c="the x factor"]The X Factor UK[/cat] continues this Saturday night on ITV1 with a Number Ones themed night.
The latest results show follows on Sunday evening, which will feature performances from Rita Ora and No Doubt, as well as one more act being given the boot.
