Former X Factor finalists JLS have warned this year's groups that they need to be different.
The boys, who finished second on the show back in 2010, told [tag]Union J[/tag] and [tag]District3[/tag] that they needed to set themselves apart from other groups currently in the charts.
JLS are currently preparing to release their fourth studio album, so it's safe to say they know what they're talking about!
The group's Aston Merrygold told Digital Spy: "Those two boybands are going to have to come out with something extremely different from what's in the market now.
"You've got the likes of us, The Wanted, 1D... Lawson. You've got a total mix and it's going to be hard to find your own lane."
He added: "They're going to have to try and come out with something different. That show does bring out the best in UK talent, you can't deny that."

The latest results show follows on Sunday evening, which will feature performances from Rita Ora and No Doubt, as well as one more act being given the boot.
