Could Dannii Minogue be set for a return to The X Factor UK?
The Aussie popstar pulled out of the show last year, blaming schedule clashes that forced her to quit the series.
But it's been revealed today that Australia's Got Talent has been axed, after declining ratings against the Aussie version of The Voice UK.
The series went from being one of the most watched shows on Aussie telly to be barely grabbing a million viewers in just one year.
Show host Grant Denyer yesterday tweeted: "With great sadness it's goodbye 2 my old friend, AGT.
"7 hilarious series, some of TV's craziest/breathtaking moments. Well done."
Meanwhile Westlife star Brian McFadden added simply: "It was fun while it lasted."
However it may not be the end of the show, as rumours have speculated that another channel is planning to pick up the series down under.
But a big shake up could still see Dannii let go, and free to return to the UK series.
Another source claims that X Factor boss Simon Cowell - who also controls the Got Talent franchise - may be tempted to do some swapping around on his shows.
It's speculated that Dannii Minogue could move from Australia's Got Talent to the Aussie version of The X Factor, with Mel B joining the UK series next year.
Speaking to Daybreak’s Lorraine Kelly earlier this year, Dannii said that the X Factor has been a “big part” of her life.
She added: “I’ve kept in contact with my X Factor contestants that I’ve mentored, and it’s really cool – it’s been a big part of my life.”
Dannii previously revealed that she had been offered the chance to return to the series this year, but couldn't fit the show in with her commitments to AGT.
I was offered the chance to return, but I decided it wasn’t the right thing for me,” she explained. “It didn’t fit in with arrangements I’d made for Australia’s Got Talent.
“I have been with AGT since the first episode and it’s filmed in my home town."
