Axed X Factor duo MK1 have hit out at Lucy Spraggan's free pass to next week's show.
Lucy didn't perform on Saturday night's show after coming down with a cold that left her unable to perform.
But eliminated MK1 claim bosses shouldn't have given her a free pass to next week's show, and instead continued to put her up for the public vote.
Speaking to STV, MK1's Charlie and Sim said: "I think in terms of away from Lucy Spraggan, away from it being Lucy, I don’t think it’s right for someone to not perform and not to be in the elimination process.
“I think if you’re not going to perform your fans will still vote for you anyway. I just feel it’s a bit… I don’t know what the word is. But it’s a bit 'not right' to bypass the elimination section. I think if you’re not going to perform you should still be up for elimination and hopefully your fans will still vote for you."
Charlie added: "At the end of the day, Kye [Sones] had a really bad throat the week before in rehearsals, he didn’t sing at all and he had to sing against us in the sing-off. And Simeon had the worst throat and didn’t say anything..."
Speaking about Lucy yesterday, Tulisa said that the 21-year-old was still feeling very "poorly" ahead of this Saturday's live show.
