X Factor stars Union J have said that the sing off was the hardest thing they've ever done.
Jade Ellis became the latest singer to leave the show in last night's X Factor 2012 results, after singing off against Union J.
The judges decided to send Jade home over the boy group, with only Tulisa opting to save her.
Speaking on the Xtra Factor, Union J said: "It was the hardest thing we have ever done, it was emotional it was.. we were shaking.
"Having to fight of Jade for it was the worst thing, knowing you were so close to going..."
But while Union J were in danger, it was a different story for District3, who confessed they were expecting to be in the bottom two.
The boy told Xtra Factor hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack: "All day we have been expecting to be in the bottom two because everyone was so amazing and we didn't think we were up to standard.
"We were so surprised. It was horrible to see Jade go."
