X Factor star Rylan Clark has said he plans to tone it down next weekend.
After once again avoided elimination in tonight's latest X Factor results, Rylan revealed he wants to give a more serious performance next Saturday night.
"I keep hitting myself around the face, i cant; believe I'm still here," Rylan confessed on the Xtra Factor this evening.
Discussing his plans, Rylan admitted: "It's risky to tone it down but I really think I need to do that, and hopefully the people out there that aren't too keen on me will see I'm not so bad."
Rylan's mentor Nicole Scherzinger gave the 23-year-old her backing on the spin-off show too.
The former Pussycat Doll told Xtra hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack: "I have to stand by him, I have got to support him, I've go to figure something out.
"I'm afraid if we don't do something people are going to say he chickened out. I think his fans love him and if he sings a ballad, they're going to support him."
