Louis Walsh has confessed he's shocked that Union J were in the bottom two on tonight's X Factor results.
Jade Ellis became the latest singer to leave the show in tonight's X Factor 2012 results, after singing off against Union J.
The judges decided to send Jade home over the boy group, with only Tulisa opting to save her.
It was a close call for the boys and their first time in the bottom two.
Speaking after the live results show on the Xtra Factor, their mentor Louis Walsh admitted: "I am in shock.
"I did not expect them boys to be in the bottom two, if their fans are watching they need to vote next week."
But Louis was confident the group could still be huge, reminding everyone again about One Direction, who finished third on the series in 2010.
He said: "Remember One Direction, they didn't do so well in early stages but they're huge."
Louis added: "When I started Westlife there was Take That. there are always room for new boybands."
Rival judge Gary Barlow confessed meanwhile confessed to the Xtra Factor's Olly Murs and Caroline Flack this evening: "I'm shocked about Union J, it's about getting it right every weekend, you've got to nail it every week."
But the Take That star did confessed he felt as though he was on holiday having not had an act in the bottom two for the first time this series.
