X Factor boss Simon Cowell has reportedly told the show's producers to keep this year's finalists in check.
With many falling ill and others getting drunk in public, Simon wants to make sure that the group stay well.
It may already be too late for [tag]Lucy Spraggan[/tag], who may have to quit the show after becoming will with exhaustion.
According to Star magazine, Lucy's pal [tag]Rylan Clark[/tag] has since had a telling off himself.
"They took Rylan to one side and told him he's totally out of control. He was categorically told that nobody is bigger than the show and that he needs to behave - or face being booted out of the show," the source revealed.
However Rylan's mentor Nicole isn't so concerned.
“I’m sure they can handle themselves,” she said at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards 2012 this week. “They’re grown full boys hopefully they know what to eat and how much to sleep.”
But the insider continued: "The contestants have a responsibility to fan to act appropriately.
"They really went to town on them and punished them [Lucy and Rylan] by moving them miles away to a hotel where they can keep a close eye on them."
The source revealed that the orders had come direct from Simon Cowell: "He told producers to get them in check, and task.
"He doesn't the show's reputation to be damaged by juvenile pranks, and he will not tolerate anyone treating their time on the show as some sort of joke - however big a character they may be."
