X Factor 2012 set for 'closest elimination yet' this weekend

The X Factor 2012 live shows are set to see the closest elimination of the series this weekend.

The latest odds from William Hill suggest that we are in for a humdinger of a show this weekend with the elimination possibly the closest in the programmes nine year history.

The bookies can hardly split the top three with Christopher Maloney the favourite at 5/2, Rylan Clark 11/4 and Kye Sones 3/1.

“I cannot remember a closer set of elimination odds and any of the three could go. It will be all about their performance on the night and who can hold their nerve,” said William Hill spokesman Mark Young

Our weekly poll agrees, with Chris, Rylan and Kye having received the fewest votes after last weekend's Club Classics live show.

Less than 70 votes split the trio, with both Rylan and Kye having been in the bottom two previously this series.

Meanwhile, the bookies are also suspecting that the judges will once again revert to deadlock this weekend.

The X Factor 2012 has been controversial to say the least, with constant deadlock causing arguments and serious hissy fits. The Judges seem to be hesitant to make a decision and William Hill are even money that indecision strikes again this weekend, by far the shortest price so far.

“The judges seem desperate not to offend each other and are leaving deadlock to decide who goes, which is inadvertently causing serious problems,” added Hill's spokesman Mark Young.
