X Factor 2012: Robbie Williams, Fun. to perform this weekend

Robbie Williams - Diamond Jubilee Concert

Robbie Williams and Fun. will be performing on The X Factor 2012 this weekend, it has been revealed.

Robbie will be singing his new song Candy, the lead track from his new album Take The Crown.

It's been rumoured that the Take That star could also act as a guest judge on the series.

After three weeks of deadlocks on the results show, producers are reportedly hoping to give the weekly musical stars to have the deciding vote.

"The idea is to get the famous acts more involved in the show and the decision making," a source told the Daily Star earlier this month. “They would be there to give their opinion as unbiased judges without having a vested interest in any of the acts.

“Others being approached include Bruno Mars, Pink and Gwen Stefani.”

Meanwhile, American rockband fun. are expected to be singing Some Nights, the titled track from their latest album, out now.

Other stars set to perform on the X Factor live shows in the coming weeks include Rita Ora, X Factor judge Tulisa and Xtra Factor's Olly Murs.

The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday night with a spooky Halloween themed episode as the remaining ten contestants perform live once again.

The latest results show follows on Sunday when one more act will be given the boot.
