Gary Barlow is just even money to not return as an X Factor judge in 2013 according to Ladbrokes.
His frustrations over Rylan's position in the competition has left the X Factor judge reeling that two of acts have been given the boot instead, and the bookies now make it just even money that enough is enough and Barlow doesn't return to the judging panel next year.
And should Gary walk away from X Factor there's a 3/1 chance the Messiah, Simon Cowell, reinstates himself as the head judge. Although if Cowell is to stay put in America it's a battle of the Spice Girls as Mel B and Geri Halliwell share favouritism at 5/1 in second spot.
Ella Henderson is untouched as the favourite and she finds herself with odds of 8/11 to win the show with Jahmene and James both quoted at 6/1 in the market.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "The longer Rylan stays in the competition the closer Gary is to reaching boiling point.
"His patience is running out and the odds suggest he won't be back for good next year."
Stars that could replace Gary include Spice Girls Mel B, Geri Haliwell, former X Factor champ Leona Lewis, Gary's Take That bandmate Robbie Williams and US singer Katy Perry.
And there's an outside bet that Jesse J or Tom Jones will defect from The Voice UK to join The X Factor for what will be its tenth series.
Discussing next year’s tenth series recently, Gary admitted he wasn’t sure on coming back for a third year on the panel.
He said: “This show gets to me because it follows me round all week. And we are in it from now until Christmas.
“I hate it but I love it.
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday night with a spooky Halloween themed episode as the remaining ten contestants perform live once again.
The latest results show follows on Sunday when one more act will be given the boot.
