X Factor 2012: MK1 claim fans couldn't vote for them

MK1 (X Factor 2012)

X Factor duo MK1 have claimed fans weren't able to vote for them over the weekend.

The pair - made up of Charlie and Simone - left the competition last night.

MK1 were eliminated last night in the latest X Factor 2012 results show, after being in the bottom two with Kye Sones.

The judges once again failed to decide who to to send home in the sing off and opted to send the vote to deadlock, where it was revealed that MK1 had received the fewest votes.

Speaking to DigitalSpy, the duo suggested: "The MK1 line was frozen... I think that's one factor that affected us on the day with the vote.

"Our fans told us they couldn't even vote for us for a good few hours."

After Sunday's show, the pair tweeted: "#REVOTEMK1 please tweet this for MK1! There voting lines were broke for 3 hours!! #RT"

Meanwhile, asked who they'd like to see win, Simone replied: "I would chose Kye because he's put so may years into this and here's his one moment, and he''s such a nice guy."

And Sim insisted that Kye could still win despite being the bottom two at the weekend.

He said: "I think anyone can win no matter how many times they're in the bottom two. I think next weekend we're going to see a different side to him."

The X Factor 2012 continues next Saturday night with a spooky Halloween themed episode as the remaining ten contestants perform live once again.

The latest results show follows on Sunday when one more act will be given the boot.
