Eliminated X Factor stars MK1 have said they've had an "amazing journey" on the show.
The duo were eliminated this evening in the latest XFactor results show, after being in the bottom two with Kye Sones.
Speaking on ITV2 spin-off show the Xtra Factor after being booted out, the pair insisted: "we're really good... head's still spinning!
"It's been such an amazing journey, we gave it all we got so we're leaving with our heads held high."
Asked if they felt they would've done better with Tulisa as a mentor, with the N-Dubz star having said she had a "soft spot" for them, MK1 replied: "I don't think it's down to Louis, Louis was an amazing mentor, Tulisa would've been different mentor..."
And Charlie and Simone revealed they didn't have many regrets after three weeks on the show.
The duo told Olly Murs and Caroline Flack this evening: "I wish I spoke up sooner, obviously you have input in song choices but you don't want to be a diva who says 'I don't want to do that song'. But no regrets completely... apart from that stupid choreography ."
