Rylan Clark (X Factor 2012)

Rylan Clark has said he's over the moon after avoiding the axe on The X Factor tonight.

MK1 were eliminated this evening in the latest X Factor 2012 results show, after being in the bottom two with Kye Sones.

Speaking on the Xtra Factor, Rylan said: "Yet again I can't believe it. I'm over the moon. Cheers!

"I'm obviously gutted MK1 have gone, it's not going to be same without them here.

The 23-year-old added to Xtra Factor hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack tonight: "I hope the public are starting to see what I'm already like, and what about Robbie tweeting me on the Twitter... I can't tweet him back!"

It seems that the shock of tonight's results hit everyone, including MK1.

Also speaking on the ITV2 spin-off show, Charlie and Sim confessed: “We can’t really believe it, we thought we gave everything last night to that performance.

"We were confident that it could have been enough but such is life, you have to keep on going.

The X Factor 2012 continues next Saturday night with a spooky Halloween themed episode as the remaining ten contestants perform live once again.

The latest results show follows on Sunday when one more act will be given the boot.
