X Factor 2012: Rylan Clark says Gary Barlow didn't ban his acts from seeing him

Rylan Clark (X Factor 2012)

Rylan Clark has hit back at claims that Gary Barlow banned his X Factor acts from seeing him.

Following his drunken antics earlier this week, which saw both him and Lucy Spraggan booted out of the show’s hotel, Rylan was reportedly banned from being with Gary and Tulisa's acts for being a 'bad influence'.

Gary has already made his feelings on Rylan quite clear on the live shows this year, and apparently gave his two remaining contestants – Kye Sones and Chris Maloney – a warning.

A source told the Daily Mirror yesterday: “He’s [Gary] had another word with his own acts and warned them that there is no place for his messing around on the show.”

But Rylan took to Twitter to claim the story was rubbish.

He said: “Just to clarify….. Gary and T have not told the overs and girls to stay away from me haha! #hilar x”

Writing online last week, Ryan confessed that the press reports surrounding him were getting "too much".

He said: “The press need to stop writing lies now, it was all harmless fun at first but this Is too much now.”

Meanwhile, speaking about getting kicked out of the hotel recently, Rylan put all of the blame on Lucy!

He told EntertainmentWise: “I blame Lucy Spraggan for the purposes of this recording, Lucy Spraggan you’re the bad influence, not me!”

He claimed: “She dragged me to the bar and kept buying me Jägerbombs”

And added: “I’m innocent!”
