X Factor 2012 star Chris Maloney has reportedly been told off by show bosses for his backstage attitude.
The Liverpudlian singer was rapped by producers after he was "rude" to a behind the scenes staff member, The Sun claims today.
A supposed show source told the newspaper: “Christopher is not making many friends.
“He was out of line with a researcher and he’s been warned by top brass that he needs to wind his neck in or he’ll get the shove.”
It's not the first negative story about Chris to appear in the tabloids this week, with claims that his nerves are fake and he's winding up the other finalists with his "arrogant" attitude.
A source told the Daily Star recently: "He's not particularly liked backstage because he’s a diva and thinks he’s the star of the show."
The supposed insider added to the newspaper this week: “And let’s face it, he’s not that great when he gets out on stage either.
“Most people reckon his nerves are a complete act too because it’s funny how he’s shaking one minute and then suddenly he’s fine."
Eliminated Melanie Masson this week defended Chris from claims that he was faking his nerves.
She said: “He comes to the stage with confidence and delivers a strong performance.
“He’s a strong character.”
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV1.
This weekend will see the remaining eleven finalists singing tracks with a Club Classics theme.…
