Melanie Masson has revealed she plans to work with Gary Barlow after being eliminated from The X Factor.
44-year-old Melanie was given the axe on Sunday night after falling into the bottom two with boy band District3.
The judges couldn't decide who to save, once again, and so it went to deadlock, with Melanie leaving.
Speaking after her exit on Sunday, Melanie yesterday explained how Gary was left down heartened about the show after her elimination,
She said: “Gary Barlow, he’s just been as lovely as always. He was really disappointed. I popped in to see him in his dressing room and the room was so quiet. He said ‘were gutted. We’re absolutely devastated.’”
It was looking good for Melanie on Saturday night's show, after she won over the panel with a cover of Paloma Faith hit Never Tear Us Apart.
In an interview with STV, Melanie said: “He really believed in me and he wants to write some songs for me.
"We’ve become friends as well now and he’s still giving me advice. He’s giving me good career advice.”
