Rylan Clark avoided the axe in tonight's X Factor results, and Nicole Scherziner couldn't be happier.
This evening saw Gary Barlow lose his second act in as many weeks, as Melanie lost out in the sing off against Louis Walsh's group District3.
Rylan Clark avoided the bottom two after last week's drama, much to both his and Nicole's joy.
"I'm grateful the audience have voted for him, and they loved the whole Rylan Stlye last night," Nicole said. "I think the reason why people voted for him is that Rylan is a fighter, and the British people love a fighter."
Nicole added: "I'm so excited. bless his heart, when the show was starting, he was singing his save me song, he's been practising all day."
Meanwhile in more bad news for Gary, Chris Maloney has been tipped to be the next act to leave in next weekend's show.
Unfortunately for Gary, his Liverpudlian crooner is given an early quote of 3/1 to face the axe this time next week, sharing favouritism with deadlock survivors District 3 (3/1).
Ella's remains the odds-on favourite for victory at 4/5, with her closest rival Jahmene given odds of 11/2.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Another one strikes the dust for Gary and it's not looking too rosy for his acts' chances next week either."
The X Factor 2012 continues next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV1.
