Rylan Clark (X Factor 2012)

X Factor's Rylan Clark has been getting support from his fellow finalists over hate from Twitter users.

Rylan has had a pretty tough week, dealing with the fallout from last Sunday's results drama.

According to The Sun, the show's contestants have rallied around Rylan to support him against the tide of death threats and abuse from online users..

A show insider told the newspaper today: “The others have been very worried about him. He has been really down and getting a stream of death threats and hateful messages on Twitter.

“He is convinced he will get the boot tonight.

“But his fellow contestants have pledged to give him round-the-clock support — they all love him."

Speaking on the Xtra Factor last night, Rylan also revealed that mentor Nicole had been a big help to him.

He told hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack: "I had the time of my life, its been a hectic week. It's not been nice but I wont sit there and sulk about, I'll go out on stage and enjoy myself and think 'Forget about it!'.

"Nicole's been fantastic to all of us, she's really helped me."

Last night saw the remaining contestants singing tracks with a love and heartbreak theme before the public voted once again.

This evening's show will see the second elimination of the series, as well as performances from US country star Taylor Swift and former X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson.
