X Factor 2012 judge Gary Barlow has spoken out about last weekend's results drama.
The Take That star has claimed the fix row, which saw Carolynne Poole lead ahead of Rylan Clark, has ruined the show's reputation.
Despite shaking Louis Walsh's hand in an end to the drama during last night's second live performance show, Gary is still "livid" over the deadlock result last Sunday night.
Speaking on Xtra Factor, Gary claimed: "I am here to find talent and I believe that everyone tunes in to watch talent."
But Gary rubbished claims that the judges are told who to vote for in the sing off, and insisted he was angry that a producer was seen talking to Louis Walsh last weekend.
"There should be no one up on that stage with us, it shouldn’t happen. I’ve told them that I do not want it to happen again and it won’t on my watch," Gary said.
He continued: “No one tells me what to do... not even Simon.
“It gets to me because it follows me around all week. After what happened, I thought, ‘I don’t want to do this any more, this isn’t the way I imagined it to be’... the singer who did the worst stayed."
And Gary revealed he was thinking about quitting, and only stayed for his acts.
He told the Daily Mirror: “The only reason I’m here is because my remaining acts thought about quitting... I couldn’t leave those contestants.
“I think the reputation of the show has been damaged. I know what I’m told by the public and people weren’t happy. They thought their vote hadn’t counted.”
The X Factor 2012 continues tonight at 8:00PM on ITV1 with the latest results show.
Last night saw the remaining contestants singing tracks with a love and heartbreak theme before the public voted once again.
Tonight's show will see the second elimination of the series, as well as performances from US country star Taylor Swift and former X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson.
