X Factor 2012 judge Louis Walsh has claimed that other shows are "jealous" of the ITV1 series.
While the Irish music mogul didn't suggested what shows he was talking about, we can't help but speculate that BBC series The Voice UK and Strictly Come Dancing were amongst those he was thinking off.
"Other shows are just jealous. We are the biggest, We’re the Manchester United of television. People are always trying to knock us," Louis told the Daily Mail.
Speaking about Sunday night's results show, Louis insisted he wasn't told by the show's producers to send the vote to deadlock.
Louis said: "He [Executive producer Mr Holloway] does that every week to tell us what order to go in when we give our verdict because they have to get the cameras set up right. He tells me I will be last."
Louis added: "No one has ever told us what to do."
In a detailed account of the weekend's drama, Louis said that claims that the show were fixed were simply "not true".
He continued: "I see Rylan at rehearsals. He's still in shock, but he thanks me for saving him. That's the way the show is."
The X Factor 2012 continues on Saturday night on ITV1.
This weekend will see the remaining contestants singing tracks with a love and heartbreak theme before the public vote once again, and one more act is eliminated on Sunday night's second results show.
Sunday's show will also feature performances from US country star Taylor Swift and former X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson.
