They may have missed out on a number one here in the UK, but One Direction have once again topped the charts in the US.
The group stormed to number one in American with their new single Live While We're Young, setting another new record.
After the success of their debut album in the States, which shot straight to number one, the boys have notched up the fastest selling single in America by a UK act.
Live While We're Young sold over 340,000 copies in just one week to beat Taylor Swift to the number one spot.
"We're so happy with the success of the single in the USA and can't wait for everyone to hear our new album. Thank you to all the fans once again," the group's Niall Horan said.
It's success that the group have failed to match here in the UK, with the single reaching only number three in the charts, despite an appearance on the X Factor at the weekend.
The group will return to the show later this year to perform their new single, ahead of the release of their second album Take Me Home.
