X Factor 2012 finalist Melanie Masson has admitted she's already missing Carolynne Poole.
32-year-old Carolynne was given the axe in the first live results show on Sunday night, in a controversial decision that saw Rylan Clark survive the sing off.
Melanie, the mum of the finalists, wrote on Twitter after the result at the weekend: “Congratulations to Rylan Clark who truly is a lovely man. I will miss my girl Carolynne Poole, a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice xx”
Melanie continued today: "Carolynne Poole, a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice. Miss ya hun xxxx
She added: "Missing my girl Carolynne Poole today. Our hotel room seems very empty! Xxxx"
44-year-old mum of two Mealnie wowed the judges on Saturday night's first live show with her take on The Beatles' With a Little Help from My Friends.
Nicole Scherzinger told her: “Melanie, that is what The X Factor is all about, singing for your life, honey, singing for your life up there. That was brilliant. You are just a brilliant soul child, I love your rock voice. You took us to the stratosphere, that was crazy. The only criticism is I would say the song choice was a little predictable.”
Louis Walsh added: “Melanie that was powerful, it was like [music festival] Woodstock!”
And the viewers clearly agreed with the judges, with Melanie avoiding the bottom two at the weekend.
The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday night on ITV1, with the results show following on Sunday night with performances from Taylor Swift and Rebecca Ferguson.
