It's been a very dramatic week on The X Factor since the live shows kicked off, and here we run down the most read stories from the past seven days.
There's been talks of romance between some of the contestants, arguments, tears and - of course - one very controversial elimination last Sunday night.
Carolynne Poole's exit
Carolynne's exit is what everyone has, unsurprisingly been talking about. 2,500 complained to Ofcom over Carolynne's elimination on Sunday night, which saw Louis Walsh controversially send the vote to deadlock.
Louis' decision was made worse after he originally said he wanted to save Carolynne, and a wide shot showing the Irish music mogul talking to producers during her sing off performance only feulled claims of a fix.
A spokesperson insisted: "Carolynne had the least amount of public votes. Producers always chat to judges during the show."
George Shelley and Ella Henderson dating?
Ella Henderson and George Shelly are dating, maybe, or not. Sources told The Sun this week that Ella and George were smitten with one another, a source said: "It’s such a cute romance — they’re playing it down but they’re absolutely inseparable.
“They are holding hands when they think no one is looking and since they were dared to kiss, they haven’t been apart.”"
However Ella claimed they weren't dating, insisting this week: “Me and George are close best friends. We just act like 12-year-olds around each other.
“Last Friday there were comments about Dan from District Three and I, then George and then yesterday me and Lucy Spraggan so I am waiting for me and Rylan to become an item.”
Louis Walsh to get the axe?
Following his controversial decision to save Rylan over Carolynne Poole, Louis Walsh has been tipped to exit the show!
Despite being on the panel for nine years, bookie reckon Louis will be sacked and won't be back for next year's line up.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Louis may be the stalwart of the judging panel, but his insistence on keeping novelty acts in the show over serious contenders is wearing thin with punters and they're backing him for the sack."
Ella's chart success
Leaked iTunes data from the first set of X Factor live performances revealed that Ella Henderson was topping the sales of the finalists.
In fact, Ella's track was doing so well she even made it into the Top 20 of the overall iTunes chart.
Lucy Spraggan's own track Mountains meanwhile was in the second spot.
Ella favourite to win
Having once been available at 9/1 the continuous support for Ella has seen her odds repeatedly slashed and she's now quoted at 10/11 to win this year's show, which has consequently seen second favourite Jahmene drift out to 11/2 (from 4/1) in the betting.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Ella's the first act in X Factor history to be an odds-on shot before the second live show has even aired. Louis's integrity as a judge has come under fire this week and the odds suggest it won't be long before he's eliminated from the show either."
Cheryl Cole blasts Simon Cowell
Cheryl Cole releases her first official autobiography this week, and didn't shy away from detailing her axe from The X Factor.
Cheryl revealed: ” I wrote the longest text ever [to Simon Cowell]. I apologise about the bad language, but this is how he made me feel.
“’F*** you. F*** Britain’s Got Talent. F*** the orange and purple outfit. F*** big hair. F*** the UK X Factor. F*** you all.’”
