Carolynne Poole has admitted she's been left embarrassed by Louis Walsh, after she started celebrating avoiding elimination despite actually being sent home.
Last night saw the first X Factor results, after all the finalists had performed for the first time on Saturday night.
Rylan Clark and Carolynne were in the bottom two, with the judges deciding to send the result to a deadlock, which saw Carolynne leave.
A controversial decision saw Louis Walsh originally save Carolynne, eventually telling Dermot he wanted to take the vote to deadlock.
We caught up with Carolynne earlier today to chat about her exit, and she confessed: "That was embarrassing, when someone says 'You're through.. no you're not!'. I did hear him [Louis] say 'I want to save Carolynne' and I thought that was his final decision.
"I felt relieved and the emotion came over me, and I felt 'thank Godness' then Dermot asked him [Louis] again and I was like 'Oh no!'"
However Carolynne wasn't keen to claim the show had been fixed.
She reasoned: "But he [Dermot] needed to hear the words 'The act I'm sending home tonight is...', and those are the rules and I need to accept that."
Carolynne added: "It's gutting, it's not good, but that's the x factor."
