X Factor 2012: Carolynne Poole says Louis Walsh producer talk 'distracting'

Carolynne Poole (X Factor 2012)

Carolynne Poole has admitted she was distracted during last night's X Factor 2012 results show after judge Louis Walsh spoke to producers during her performance.

Carolynne found herself in the bottom two along with Rylan Clark, with both singers performing for the judges.

But during Carolynne's sing off song - a cover of a Faith Hill track - Louis was spotted chatting to X Factor boss Richard Holloway.

"I did see that, I saw it when I was singing, it was a bit off putting," Carolynne admitted today.

Louis then went on to controversially save Rylan over Carolynne, sending the vote to a deadlock and ultimately leading to Carolynne exiting the competition.

However Carolynne was keen not to join in with claims that Louis had been told what to do.

"Sometimes things like that happen, you don't want to read into it too much because there's lots of things that go on in a live show," she said. "I don't know what to say about that really."

A spokesperson for the X Factor commented last night: "Carolynne had the least amount of public votes. Producers always chat to judges during the show.”

The X Factor 2012 continues this Saturday night on ITV1, with the results show following on Sunday night with performances from Taylor Swift and Rebecca Ferguson.
