Rylan Clark left Gary Barlow being embarrassed to be an X Factor judge on tonight's live show!
The 23-year-old from Essex was seen in tears before his performance over death threats received since being put through to to the live shows.
But after a pep talk from mentor Nicole, Rylan came out on to the stage to dazzle with a cover of Gold by Spandau Ballet for this weekend's Olympic Heroes themed weekend.
Gary Barlow said: "I'm embarrassed to be sat here, I said no to you at my first audition so Nicole, you should be ashamed. You had five great singers at your judges' houses."
Nicole said: "Don't be an old grumpy fart now, Gary. This isn't just about having the great voice, he has the entire package."
Tulisa said: "It is cheesy, but you are an entertainer and your vocals are on point, I don't think this competition would be the same without you."
Louis Walsh said: "Rylan Clark! I thought I'd seen everything on the X Factor but that was amazing, you're not a great singer but you're a good singer.
"You're never going to please everybody, so just keep doing what you're doing."
The X Factor 2012 live shows continue tomorrow night on ITV1 at 8PM with the first results show, featuring performances from Ne-Yo and Leona Lewis.
