X Factor boy group Union J have been speaking about getting a new member at judges' houses.
The group is made up of Triple J – Jaymi Hensley, JJ Hamblet, and Josh Cuthbert – and George Shelley – who were put together at judges’ houses as a four piece.
The four piece appeared on Daybreak this morning with mentor Louis Walsh and the other groups MK1 and GMD3.
Speaking about the new line up for the group, the boys said: "It’s been awesome, he just fitted in straight away. He’s just one of us now.”
And they revealed to Daybreak hosts Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones: "It was funny because we’d become quite good friends with him at bootcamp and for him to be put in was wicked.”
The first X Factor rehearsals kicked off in Wembley yesterday, the group confessed they've been having to put the work in.
Tomorrow night will see the boys perform live for the first time, and it will be only the second time they've performed on the show together.
“We have had to practice," they said this morning. "Obviously the other groups have been together longer than us, so we’ve had to put in extra work but hopefully it will pay off.”
Speaking this week, Louis Walsh said of the boys: "The boys have a great young image, girls are going to love them, they have it all – great energy, looks and the vocals to match.”
And asked why they should win, [tag]Union J[/tag] replied: "We’re new and fresh. We have not been together long but I hope the public realises the potential in us. We’re four normal down to earth guys who love to sing."
