X Factor 2012 finalist Jahmene Douglas has said his faith helps to keep him grounded.
Speaking to his local newspaper, The Swindon Advertiser, Jahmene revealed: "It feels like a bubble at the moment it is the only way I can describe it.
“Usually you are looking from outwards in on something like this but now I am in it looking out."
Jahmene was chosen by Boys mentor Nicole as one of her finalists along with James Arthur and Rylan Clark, and the trio will perform live on the show for the first time on Saturday night.
Despite being one of the favourites and already having collected a huge online following, Jahmene said he wouldn't get too big for his boots like previous contestants.
He said: “My faith and my mum especially has brought me up with respectful values which helps me keep my feet grounded.
“I do miss being home and my family but because singing is something I need to do I am doing this.”
Jahmene went on to thank all of his supports, adding: “Every second, or every minute, there is a new follower or tweet and I try to reply to them all but it is so hard.
“The support has been amazing. You dream of these things and I am just trying to take it all in.”
