Ahead of this weekend’s first live X Factor show, leading online betting comparison site Oddschecker.com can confirm that Liverpudlian singer Christopher Maloney is the bookies’ favourite ‘wildcard’ at 4/9 to win the public vote and join the existing 12 finalists in the battle to be crowned winner of this year’s X Factor.

Talented 16-year-old Ella Henderson remains the bookmakers’ favourite to win this year’s X Factor, after replacing initial favourite Jahmene Douglas following the boot camp stages of the competition, while Duo MK1 are the favourites to be the first act eliminated this weekend at odds of 3/1.
Meanwhile, Paddy Power is offering 2/1 that a contestant will quit the competition of their own accord.
In other X Factor betting markets, judge Tulisa Contostavlos regularly changes her mind on her hair colour, and Coral is offering 6/4 that the former N-Dubz star returns to blonde at some point during the series.

This year’s X Factor has been struggling to attract the large audience numbers of past series, but the odds on the talent show triumphing over Strictly Come Dancing in the viewing figures this Saturday is at 2/5 with Paddy Power. The same firm is offering 7/4 that Strictly secures a bigger audience.
