X Factor 2012 live shows: MK1 favourite for first elimination

MK1 (The X Factor 2012)

Duo MK1 have been tipped to be the first act axed from The X Factor 2012 live shows.

The finals kick off on this Saturday night with the finalists performing for the public votes for the first time, and one act will be kicked out on Sunday night.

Perhaps surprisingly bookies William Hill make MK1 (5/2) their favourite to be the first people chucked off the X Factor, not the much maligned Rylan Clark who is 5/1 third favourite to go.

“It is something of a surprise to see that Rylan is not the favourite to be kicked out first, despite all his negative press since Sunday’s show. But he is obviously not as unpopular as many thought,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Meanwhile Christopher Maloney is 2/5 favourite to be named the winning wildcard, with Amy Mottram 5/2, Times Red 10/1 and Adam Burridge is 20/1.

One of the four will be crowned the wild card winner on Saturday night's show and join the other finalists in the competition.

Ella Henderson is the 5/4 favourite with William Hill to be crowned X Factor champions. James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas are both 6/1 with Kye Sones 7/1.
