X Factor 2012: Simon Cowell, Gary Barlow 'no longer talking'

Gary Barlow

Gary Barlow and Simon Cowell are no longer talking over The X Factor, it has been claimed.

The pair's relationship has certainly not been the best recently, with revelations that Simon wanted Gary sacked from the show.

In claims made in the music mogul's biography, it was suggested that Simon was angry with ITV bosses for rehiring the Take That star this year.

Discussing his relationship with Simon Cowell yesterday, Gary said: “We get messages every couple of weeks. He gets the show sent to him.

"He approves the shows, but I think they are probably quite busy over there at the moment.”

He added: “I don’t get advice. We get feedback on the show.”

Sources claimed to the Daily Mirror today that the pair’s friendship “ended a long time ago”.

Meanwhile Gary claimed he was preparing his own book, which would be "bloody beautiful".

He said: “I’ve had plenty of abuse in the last 22 years. I’m used to it. This book thing, it’s an unofficial book.

"Wait until my book comes out. It will be bloody beautiful. I’m gonna get the lot of them.”
