X Factor 2012: Boys disappointed with the lack of girls in the final 12!

Times Red

The X Factor boys have admitted they're disappointed with the lack of available girls in the final 12.

This year's line up is dominated by guys, and the girls that are in the competition are unavailable.

Both Carolynne Poole and Melanie Masson are married, while MK1's Charlie, Jade Ellis and Lucy Spraggan are all lesbian.

It leaves just Ella Henderson, who at 16 is a bit too young for most of them!

Times Red star Luke said: "The competition is just full of boys"

His bandmate Scott added: "We have been in the 'X Factor' hotel for two weeks and there have been no girls apart from the researchers who we are starting to eye up.

"So any girl we see we are like, 'Ahhhhhh.' "

Fellow wildcard Adam Burridge meanwhile revealed how he tried - and failed - to grab Nicole's number after he phoned to reveal the wildcard twist.

He said: "After she called me, I looked to save the number but she had blocked it. I was gutted."
