X Factor 2012: Adam Burridge defends Rylan Clark: 'He has a great voice'

Adam Burridge (X Factor 2012)

Adam Burridge has defended X Factor finalist Rylan Clark from abuse, saying that the Essex performer deserves his spot in the competition.

We saw Nicole chose Rylan ahead of Adam for the live shows on Sunday night, with Adam being put forward as a wild card.

He's competing for one last and final spot in the live shows alongside an act from each of the other categories.

Despite being knocked out of the competition by Rylan, Adam told us: "I love Rylan, I think the stick he's getting is a little bit unfair, maybe the way it's been portrayed on the show, people think he can't sing but he actually can, he has a great voice.

"I think people are going to be surprised with what he can do on the live shows."

We caught up with Adam yesterday to speak about his chance of making the live shows.

He said: "It'd just mean everything, it's the dream, it' what you apply for. You don expect to go through but I've never wanted anything more in my life ever."

Watch our video interview with Adam below as he chats about his X Factor journey so far, and the acts he hopes to one day follow in the footsteps in!
