X Factor 2012 favourite Ella Henderson has vowed to cope with the pressure of the show.
At just 16, young Ella is by far the youngest of this year's competitors but already been tipped to win after wowing at her audition, bootcamp and judges' houses.
"Hearing those comments is crazy – I feel like they aren’t talking about me. It’s a very surreal feeling but exciting, too. I’ve got a constant grin on my face," Ella said of the feedback from the judges and public.
Last night we saw Ella make the final 12, and she'll be performing on the live shows next week.
“I will be nervous before the live show but I don’t feel pressured," Ella said. "I’m just excited to think I’m still so young and I’m going to be able to keep pushing myself.
“I’m bound to go wrong at some point like everyone else – I’m not perfect. I’m going to be me and give the most honest performances I can.”
She added: “I’ve had words with Tulisa about keeping my feet on the ground and I know I can go to her at any point if I feel it’s all getting too much.”
Speaking to The Sun, Ella revealed how living with the other finalists was making her feel like she was in the Big Brother house!
She said: “It feels like the Big Brother house at the moment. We have had one or two funny nights. There are quite a lot of boys so the testosterone is flying around and there’s lots of shouting.”
