X Factor 2012: Rylan Clark says death threats make him fear for his life

Rylan Clark (X Factor 2012)

X Factor 2012 hopeful Rylan Clark has admitted that death threats have made him fear for his life.

The Essex-based performer made it through to judges’ houses at the weekend, and it was a decision that didn’t go down well with some viewers.

Responding to the haters, Rylan ranted on Twitter earlier this week: “I’ve ben told not to react to all the s**t on here but I’m sorry, I’m a mouthy bastard so I’m gonna.

“I’ve EARNED my place at judges houses just like every other person in this comp, not everyone is going to like me, I know that, but don’t judge me for doing something I’ve always wanted to do.”

He added: “For those who are supportive thank you so much, it means the world. For those that ain’t.. Go and have a w**k.”

In another interview today, Rylan reveals: “I’ve had death threats, I’ve been told I’m going to be bottled and my face sliced open.

“At times it has killed me and it’s disgusting – some of these people act like I’m a murderer. It has made going out in public quite daunting.”

And Rylan says that the hate is also getting to his family, including his mum.

He added: “My mum’s not silly, she knows not everyone will like me.

“But reading comments threatening to break into my house and firebomb me would shock anyone.”

We'll find out tonight if Rylan is through to the X Factor 2012 final 12!
