X Factor 2012 finalist Carolynne Poole has said she feels far more positive about her chances on this year's show.
The 31-year-old has made the live shows this series after being rejected by Louis Walsh last year, so she's already one step ahead!
"It was gutting leaving the show last year because I already felt like I'd failed at so many other things. I was devastated," Caroline said.
After IVF failed and a marriage breakdown followed, it's been a tough twelve months for Carolynne, but things seem to be on the up.
"It's only now that I feel more positive that I can see it in a different light and say, 'It's only IVF, at least it's not cancer, I can do it again'," she said.
Speaking to new! magazine, Carolynne revealed: "I've got a lovely new niece, who was born on the day of my final bootcamp performance.
"I see that as a good omen. I was supposed to be my sisters birthing partner but my family didn't ring because they knew I'd come home. Good job I stayed!"
She added: "I'm hoping that last year I didn't get my baby of The X Factor, but this year I've got my sister's baby and I get the X Factor."
The X Factor 2012 live shows start this Saturday night on BBC One.
