X Factor 2012: Union J sing 'Call Me Maybe' at judges' houses (VIDEO)

Union J (X Factor 2012)

Newly formed X Factor group Union J gave a "fantastic" performance at judges’ houses tonight.

The boys are made up of Jamie Hamblett (JJ) 24, George Shelley 19, Josh Cuthbert 20 and Jaymi Hensley 22, formed together from Triple J and George who were both originally axed at bootcamp.

Teaming up on this new group, the boys were hoping to impress mentor Louis Walsh and his celeb helper Sharon Osbourne at judges’ houses.

The group performed Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen, with Louis reacting: “With a bit of work Sharon, they could be fantastic.”

Sharon wasn’t so sure, and said: “A couple of them have picked up really novice bad habits.”

Also impressing on tonight's show were Times Red, who performed a mash up of Aint No Sunshine/Let’s Get it Started.

Louis said: "They look good…their harmonies are amazing. There’s a lot of work to be done though."

Sharon added: "There is a lot of work to find out who they really are."

Duo MK1 also did well, singing Just Be Good To Me by Professor Green.

Sharon said: "Love their confidence, I think they’re great together."
