X Factor 2012: Louis Walsh gives his views on the final seven groups

Louis Walsh has given his opinion on the final seven groups on The X Factor 2012.

We saw Louis told he’d be mentoring the group on last weekend’s show, and this Saturday will see the groups jet out to Las Vegas to meet and perform for Louis and his celeb mentor Sharon Osbourne.

On GMD3: "I love them these boys can sing, they can really sing, they've got amazing harmonies, they're nice guys and work hard, they tick every single box, girls will love them and they'll work really hard."

On Duke: "They're really different, they're very musical, I'm going to have great fun with them, I love the beat boxing, I love Duke."

On MK1: "Very different, we've never had a good boy girl act before, she's a great singer and he's a great rapper... I think, I don't know much about rap!"

On Poisonous Twin: "I like them, they're different and I've worked with twins before, they can sing, they need a lot of work. We picked them and I want to see how they work at judges' houses."

On Mitsotu: "They've got a bit of soul these guys."

On the two new groups, Louis added: "When Rough Copy left, I found it difficult to choose between two groups to fill their place. In the end I invited boyband Triple J to come to Judges Houses, but still felt that as I’d lost such a strong group in Rough Copy that I wanted to make sure the category was the best it could possibly be.

“I asked Gary, Nicole and Tulisa if they minded if I took a seventh act. They were happy as they felt they’d got the right six acts for their Judges Houses trips so I asked Times Red to come along and they said yes.”
