X Factor creative director Brian Friedman has said he's excited for this year's live shows.
The X Factor 2012 final 12 will be revealed this weekend, and they'll be performing live from next month.
Teasing the X Factor line up, Brian said: "I think the talent is diverse, first hand foremost. Some acts stood out for me from the get-go. I'm a big fan of [tag]Ella Henderson[/tag] and I just love [tag]James Arthur[/tag]."
Brian admitted that the groups would be more challenging but he hoped they would be inspired by previous success including Little Mix and One Direction.
He explained to Star magazine: "The groups can be more challenging but they're also more fun.
"There's safety in numbers so a lot of the time the inhibition is gone. With Little Mix they were really supportive of act other and One Direction definitely spin off each other's energy."
This will Brian's first time working with the new panel since Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue left, having been put to work on the US show last year.
Back in the UK, Brian said: "It's going to be a learning experience with Gary. But he's direct and clear with his vision which I appreciate."
